Jim Odney

Founder Jim Odney is an entrepreneur himself, with direct experience in founding, growing, operating, acquiring and selling his own companies.

After graduating from the University of North Dakota, Jim started his career in the radio broadcast industry in sales and sales management, bought two radio stations and grew them significantly before selling them.

He then founded an advertising agency and grew it to one of the largest and most respected in the upper Midwest, with clients such as Target Corporation, Bremer Bank, Boatmen’s Bank (now Nations Bank), Coca-Cola (regional) and Super Valu.

Prior to founding Crescenda, Jim bought an ice cream and milk company, built the first national white milk brand called Deja Moo and was named one of twelve “Movers & Shakers” in the dairy industry by Dairy Foods magazine.

During his career, Jim has grown his companies through strategic acquisitions and the recruitment of talented management. He founded Crescenda with the same single-minded desire for excellence in the partnerships developed, people hired and results achieved. Jim is involved in every aspect of Crescenda clients’ business, working tirelessly to advocate for them and deliver results.

Jamer Odney

After graduating from the University of Kansas with a degree in Economics and minor in Business, Jamer began his career in Investment Banking at a M&A firm in Kansas City. He was recruited away by a mortgage banking services company and, after two years, was named to the senior management position of Client Relations Manager.

During his tenure, the company experienced record growth in revenue and profit, added many new clients and improved customer service. The company was acquired by a large Private Equity Group before ultimately being sold to one of the largest publicly traded title companies in the United States.

As Associate Banker at Crescenda, Jamer provides M & A support services for all Crescenda clients. He works closely with senior bankers in all facets of investment banking activities including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, valuations and strategic advisory. He conducts extensive industry and company-specific market research on companies involved in deals, develops buyer lists for clients, prepares Confidential Information Memoranda and Offering Memoranda. Working with senior management, he builds financial models and assists in managing the due diligence process.

Andrew Odney

As Vice President at Colliers International, Andrew Odney provides exceptional sales and leasing service for clients in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. He is a graduate of Arizona State University and is a member/affiliate of MNCAR and NAIOP. He has a wealth of market knowledge and experience, which has contributed to over $100 million in total considerations and the sale and lease of over one million square feet of space.

He has represented transactions with notable clients including Dal-Tile, Ecolab, Imagine! Print Solutions, First Industrial Realty Trust and Carlson Real Estate Company and many more.
